By accessing or using MyTradeMate (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notifications or our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

MyTradeMate is a privacy-first cryptocurrency portfolio tracker that provides:

• Local AI Analysis: 26 TensorFlow Lite models that analyze your portfolio data entirely on your device.
• Technical Indicators: 76 indicators (25 candlestick patterns + 51 technical indicators) calculated locally across 5 timeframes (5-minute, 15-minute, 1-hour, 4-hour, 1-day).
• Portfolio Tracking: Real-time tracking of cryptocurrency holdings via exchange API integration.
• Educational Insights: Pattern recognition, trend analysis, and risk assessments for educational purposes only.

Important: MyTradeMate is a passive tracking and analysis tool. It does not execute trades, store funds, or interact with blockchain networks.

3. Not Financial Advice

AI-generated insights are based on historical data and technical analysis. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and unpredictable.

You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. Always:

• Do your own research (DYOR)
• Consult with licensed financial advisors
• Understand the risks before investing
• Never invest more than you can afford to lose

4. Risk Warnings

Cryptocurrency trading and investment carry significant risks, including but not limited to:

• Volatility: Cryptocurrency prices can fluctuate dramatically within minutes.
• Loss of Capital: You may lose some or all of your invested capital.
• Market Manipulation: Cryptocurrency markets are susceptible to manipulation, wash trading, and pump-and-dump schemes.

4.2 Regulatory Risk

• Legal Uncertainty: Cryptocurrency regulations vary by jurisdiction and are subject to change.
• Bans and Restrictions: Governments may ban or restrict cryptocurrency trading at any time.
• Tax Obligations: You are responsible for understanding and complying with tax laws in your jurisdiction.

4.3 Technical Risk

• Exchange Failures: Cryptocurrency exchanges may be hacked, insolvent, or shut down.
• API Key Compromise: If your API keys are stolen, attackers may access your exchange account.
• Software Bugs: The App may contain bugs or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee error-free operation.

4.4 AI Limitations

• No Guarantees: AI models are probabilistic and may produce incorrect predictions.
• Historical Bias: Models trained on past data may not predict future events.
• False Signals: Technical indicators can generate false positives and misleading signals.

5. Eligibility

To use MyTradeMate, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
• Not be prohibited by law from using cryptocurrency services.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

Cryptocurrency trading may be illegal or restricted in certain countries. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws.

6. Subscription and Payment Terms

6.1 Free Trial

• Duration: 48 hours (2 days) of full access to all features.
• No Credit Card Required: You are not charged during the trial period.
• Cancellation: The trial ends automatically after 48 hours. No action is required to cancel.

6.2 Subscription Plans

• Launch Offer: €3.99/month for the first 1,000 users, locked in forever.
• Regular Price: €5.99/month after the launch offer ends.
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly via Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.

6.3 Price Lock Guarantee

Users who subscribe during the launch offer (€3.99/month) will retain that price forever, even if we increase prices for new users. This price lock applies only to continuous subscriptions—if you cancel and resubscribe later, you will pay the current price.

6.4 Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancel Anytime: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store or Google Play Store.
• No Partial Refunds: Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months.
• App Store Policies: Refund requests are subject to Apple's and Google's refund policies.

7. User Responsibilities

7.1 API Key Security

You are solely responsible for securing your exchange API keys:

• Use Read-Only Keys: Only provide MyTradeMate with read-only API keys. Never use keys with trading or withdrawal permissions.
• Secure Storage: While we encrypt API keys with AES-256, you should also enable IP whitelisting and key rotation on your exchange.
• Revoke Keys: If you suspect your API keys have been compromised, immediately revoke them on your exchange.
• No Liability: We are not liable for losses resulting from compromised API keys.

7.2 Accurate Information

You are responsible for entering accurate portfolio data. MyTradeMate's analysis is only as good as the data you provide. We are not liable for errors resulting from inaccurate inputs.

7.3 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for illegal activities, including money laundering or sanctions evasion.
• Attempt to access other users' data (though this is impossible due to local storage).
• Distribute, resell, or sublicense the App.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the App.

8. Intellectual Property

MyTradeMate and all related content, including but not limited to:

• AI models and algorithms
• Technical indicator calculations
• User interface design
• Logos, trademarks, and branding

...are the exclusive property of MyTradeMate and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 "As-Is" Disclaimer

MyTradeMate is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information

9.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy

We do not guarantee that:

• AI predictions or technical indicators will be accurate.
• The App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
• Price data from exchanges will be accurate or up-to-date.
• Your portfolio calculations will be correct.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyTradeMate and its developers, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• Financial losses resulting from investment decisions.
• Losses due to software bugs, inaccuracies, or outages.
• Losses resulting from compromised API keys or exchange failures.
• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyTradeMate and its developers, officers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your investment decisions.
• Your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Third-Party Services

MyTradeMate integrates with third-party cryptocurrency exchanges to fetch price data. These integrations are subject to the exchanges' terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for:

• Exchange downtime, errors, or API changes.
• Data accuracy or delays from exchanges.
• Exchange security breaches or insolvency.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to MyTradeMate at any time, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms.
• Fraudulent or illegal activity.
• Non-payment of subscription fees.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Because all data is stored locally on your device, we cannot remotely delete your data—you must uninstall the App manually.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MyTradeMate is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through:

• Negotiation: We encourage users to contact us to resolve disputes informally.
• Arbitration: If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of a recognized arbitration body.

You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MyTradeMate regarding your use of the App. They supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
